Install, run your first backup, and learn the dashboard.
Installation
Install from Plugins → Add New or download the ZIP and upload manually, then activate BackupRidge.
Setup Checklist
After activation, the dashboard may show a setup checklist strip: configure a schedule, connect remote storage, and run your first backup. You can dismiss it per user when you are done.
Your First Backup
Open BackupRidge → Dashboard, choose what to include (database, themes, plugins, uploads, etc.), then click Backup Now. Watch the progress panel and backup history table for status, ETA, and completion.
Dashboard Overview
The dashboard shows live progress, backup history with actions (restore, download, delete), quick recovery, and links to Logs and Remote Storage. For a full walkthrough — scheduling, Pro license activation, and cloud providers — see the Getting Started guide on this site.
