Schedule
Frequency options include Hourly, every 2/4/6/8/12 hours, Daily, Weekly, Fortnightly, and Monthly.
Backup Scope
Select components and exclusions for your backups.
Archive
Set archive format, size split threshold, compression, and encryption.
Default local backup path is wp-content/uploads/backupridge/backups. You can set an optional subfolder under wp-content/uploads/backupridge/; absolute custom paths are not allowed.
Backup Filename Templates
Free — Custom backup filenames: Choose a filename prefix (plugin default, site URL hostname, or site name) with automatic date/time stamping. Pro — Custom filename templates: Build filenames from placeholders such as {site}, {type}, {datetime}, {id}, and {seq} instead of a fixed prefix.

Choose export method and configure table/chunk behavior.
Resumption & Reliability
Tune resume intervals, retries, and host profile presets.
Performance presets: Choose a profile such as Default, Slow host, or Fast host. Auto-detect host capabilities probes PHP limits and extensions to suggest a safer preset on constrained servers.
Upload
Configure upload chunk size, retry count, delay, and local deletion behavior.
Upload chunk size should be tuned to your host limits and network stability.
Retention
Choose how many backups and logs to retain.
Notifications
Email: Enter an email address to receive notifications. Use Email on success and Email on failure to choose when messages are sent. Use Test email in Settings to verify delivery from your host.
Webhooks: Set a webhook URL, pick a format (Generic JSON, Slack, or Discord), and enable Webhook on success / Webhook on failure as needed. Test from the Notifications section when outbound HTTPS is allowed.
Advanced
Advanced includes delete-on-uninstall behavior.
