Hi, I’m Tor

Day job: I help keep critical national infrastructure monitored and running. In that world, “we probably have a backup” isn’t a sentence anyone gets to say — you verify, you test the restore, and you plan backwards from the assumption that the failure will happen.

Then I looked at the WordPress backup market and found the opposite philosophy: plugins that nag weekly and hold your restore hostage. So I built the plugin I wanted to exist — boring, in the best sense of the word. It backs up, it restores, it stays out of your way.

Lifetime, really?

What if I want a refund?
A 14-day, no-questions-asked refund. Contact us and it’s handled — no retention script.
Why is founder pricing so cheap?
Founder pricing buys early reviews, feedback, and real case studies while BackupRidge is new. That’s the trade, stated plainly — not a fake discount that reappears next month.
Can I upgrade from Personal to Agency later?
Yes — pay the difference while founder pricing lasts.
Can I use it on client sites?
Yes — that’s the entire point of the Agency tier. Install and run BackupRidge on client-owned WordPress sites under your Founder Agency licence; nothing in the terms restricts use to sites you personally own.
Can I get a proper invoice — is VAT handled?
Yes. LemonSqueezy, our payment processor, is the merchant of record for every purchase — VAT and sales tax are calculated and collected automatically at checkout, business VAT IDs are supported, and your order confirmation email doubles as an invoice for your books.
Do dev/staging copies count against my site limit?
Yes — every activated site, including a dev/staging copy, counts as one of your licensed sites; activations are tracked per distinct site URL, not per real production site. When you’re done with a temporary copy, use Transfer License in your account portal to move the activation to the site you actually want counted — that frees the old URL’s slot in the same step.
